SISU is driven by the science of nutrition. SISU’s New Product Development team meets regularly to discuss innovative new product ideas. They seek out new materials, review the latest scientific research and studies and discuss consumer requests in search of the next new and exciting product formulation to add to the continually growing SISU line. We are committed to providing the highest-quality products possible.
We develop products based largely on evidence from either scientific literature or well-established traditional use; some products use a combination of these two. Reviewing the scientific and traditional evidence often involves reviewing dozens of studies along with other reference resources before choosing ingredients and developing a new product formula. A number of our formulations for new products are also based upon Dr. Serenity Aberdour’s clinical experience to date and what she has found is helpful for her patients. You will not find any trendy products at SISU; our products are based upon scientific research and not the latest craze. SISU strives to provide the highest quality, efficacious supplements available and occasionally we see an existing product in the market and improve upon it to make it even better.
Product safety is also a priority at SISU. We use only the highest quality of ingredients and we carefully choose ingredients and dosages that have been shown to have a low incidence of adverse effects. We ensure that our retailers and consumers are adequately educated as product safety is very important; the first priority is to do no harm.
SISU’s New Product Development team is comprised of an in-house Pharmacist as well as an Naturopathic doctor, among other industry experts, who all work closely together to improve product formulations in order to achieve the best product possible in terms of potency, taste and cost. Making superior supplements is not enough for us; we also strive to make them cost-effective for consumers.
Lot Numbers and Expiration Dates
SISU is conservative with expiration dating to ensure that our consumers always receive a full-potency, efficacious product. Each SISU bottle is stamped with a lot number, which allows us to trace its original date of manufacturing, and an expiration date, clearly marked as month/year.
